Fylde
FC Old Boys had started pretty well today with
2-0 and 1-0 victories but since then had suffered
1-0 and 2-0 defeats. They were still well placed
in Group A sitting in third place at the start
of Round 6 but had now dropped to fourth due
to Tikki Masala's win in the previous game.
Fylde FC OB could reclaim third place with a
win against Deportivo Dooradoyle.
The
Irish team had guaranteed Plate qualification
due to Bugiels defeat in the previous game.
They would want to finish as high as possible
though and pick up more points to secure an
easier draw in the Quarter-Finals. They would
hope to get something from this game as RAF1
awaited them in their final fixture.
It
was Fylde FC OB though who took the lead in
this with Ryan Errington scoring the goal that
proved to be the difference between these teams
for much of the match. Deportivo Dooradoyle
were in this game right up until the dying embers
of the tie when Liam Errington settled it with
the last kick of the game.
2-0
to Fylde FC Old Boys and they were back up to
third.
