The 2013 eurofootballfives.com season kicked off in Lisbon. It was the third city to be granted this honour after Krakow and Barcelona before it. Lisbon was also special this year as it was our first tournament in the Portuguese capital.

It was the first and certainly won't be the last after a great day of football action, a superb city to explore and a fantastic nightlife to enjoy. On the day there was Portuguese success for both Groundforce Lisboa in the Plate and HS Decor in the Cup competition.

The individual honours on the day went to Jon Stead of FC Dynamoes who rattled in 15 goals in 7 games to bag the Golden Boot award.

Lisbon was a double first for eurofootballfives.com - first tournament in Lisbon and also our first Veterans tournament with teams assembled from England, Ireland and Portugal.

As with the seniors tournament above it was to be a successful day for the home teams as Sao Marcos were victorious lifting the trophy. They also boasted the tournament top goalscorer as Helder Adega scored 10 goals in 7 games to claim the trophy.

From the city of Lisbon to the island of Mallorca as the eurofootballfives.com tour stormed on at pace. More sunshine, more beaches, more continental lager and more great football.

The 2013 Mallorca Fives was supported by teams from England, France, Hungary and Spain to decide who would be crowned champions - May the 4th be with you and all that.

We enjoyed a glorious days weather (not surprising as Mallorca has 300 sunshine days per year) and revelling in the sunshine were Grant Thornton of France who won their first eurofootballfives.com title against two-times previous winners, Skidmarks.

In the Plate competition Son Gual won their first silverware as the Spanish team edged Coverton Road 1-0 in the Final.

Cedric Castarede completed double French success as he added the Top Goalscorer trophy to his Cup winner's medal to crown a very successful day for him.

Budapest has rapidly become a firm favourite in our season with 20 teams in 2011, 18 teams in 2012 and 26 teams in 2013. It is easy to see why as this stunning city is unbelievable value for those teams coming from the UK or Euro-currency nations. The football is also played in one of the best venues on our circuit.

On the pitch it was Team Bear who claimed victory in a thrilling penalty shoot over Rigford Seahawks Omega when goalkeeper Simon Walker (in shades of the 2011 Budapest Fives Cup Final) was the hero saving 2 penalties before slotting home the winning kick to claim glory.

In the Plate competition there was Hungarian success for the second year running as debutants Megapletes triumphed 3-0 over Bozeat All Stars.

The top goalscorer came from defeated French Semi-Finalists Les 5 Salopards with Yanick Jista top-scoring with 7 goals.

The Plate Champion of Champions Tournament was played in Budapest alongside our traditional Budapest Fives tournament. It was an invitational event where 8 of our previous Plate finalists accepted the challenge to see who would be crowned Plate Champion of Champions and the finest team at this level of eurofootballfives.com football.

WIth a very multinational line-up (Czech Rep, England, Germany, Hungary and Ireland) it was to be an incredibly tight finish. Csabagyongye of Hungary and Alphasights both finished on 16 points with a record of 5 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat. In the end it was Csabagyongye who won courtesy of goal difference +11 compared to their opponents +10.

Csabagyongye were helped by the goals of Peter Dovak and his 5 on the day helped him become the Golden Boot winner.

The 2013 Algarve Open was a very special tournament for us - it was our 50th tournament throughout Europe.

After a great day of competition it was FC Radbroke who were victorious 1-0 over CFC Paris in the Final. It was a second tournament victory for FC Radbroke as they added the 2013 Algarve Open to their 2011 Prague Masters triumph. For CFC Paris it was the second year in a row they were Runners-Up.

In the Plate competition Water Boy of Portugal claimed the winners medals leaving the Runners-up medals to United Colours of Benetton from Holland. There was also success for Norton Hill Old Boys who claimed the Wooden Spoon playoff.

The personal honours went to FC Radbroke's Mike Brandon with a haul of 9 goals. Well done to him and all teams for making the 2013 Algarve Open such a great event.

The 2013 Berlin Fives marked a hugely triumphant return to Germany for eurofootballfives.com. The 2012 tournament was our fastest selling ever and was an unbelievable weelend. We wondered if it could ever be matched - it could! 2013 saw a lot of fun, a lot of laughs and some sensational football.

With teams from the Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Ireland and Romania all competing we had a plethora of talent on show. We arguably had our strongest ever Cup Final as 2009 Barca Fives winners Luminy Wolves (France) encountered 2012 Budapest Fives winners ABC United (Romania). The Romanians were just too good on the day and swept to a great victory. The crowds watched, admired and cheered the sublime skills of our winners.

in the Plate competition Saipan FC (Ireland) reached a third final and it was third time unlucky as they lost 2-1 to debutants Team Geek (England). It was No Janesy No (England) who picked up the Wooden Spoon playoff to end their tournament on a crescendo of two successive wins.

We say thank you and farewell to the 2013 Berlin Fives and look forward with relish to the 2014 extravaganza!

The 2013 Mallorca Tournament was another great tour to this beautiful island. We had stunning weather, stunning nights out and a first class tournament to savour. There was some great football on display and once the dust had settled on proceedings it was Inter Women who emerged victorious.

For Inter Women it was their second triumph after success in the 2011 Amsterdam Fives. For star striker Daniel Powell it was a 2nd team success to add to his 3 individual successes. He was crowned Top Goalscorer with 17 goals and added the trophy to his 2012 Mallorca Tournament and 2011 Amsterdam Fives Golden Boot collection.

Our Runners-Up were Peluqeria Styl who collected the silver medals for the second season in a row. In the Plate tournament there was success for Have Ago Heroes who defeated Cheesecake FC 3-0 in the Plate Final. The Wooden Spoon was collected by Arenal Vets as Spain defeated Wales in the "battle for 17th".

Following a superb tournament in Prague 2012 we were honoured to be asked again to host the JNJ Euro Soccer Tournament. Budapest was the stage in 2013 and it was a fantastic event in a fantastic city.

There was victory for JNJ Russia A as they took on the title from JNJ Croatia last year. JNJ High Wycombe A had to settle for Runners-Up medals for the second year in a row. In the Plate competition, Prague winners Slavoj Consumer of the Czech Republic retained their title with a win in Budapest (on penalties) over Fi Tighe FC.

The top goalscorer award went to Artem Khodas with 13 goals - 5 more than anyone else on the day. Well done to him.

A big thank you to everyone who attended a fantastic day of tournament action!

The 8th edition of the Krakow Trophy was another great tournament in a history of great events in the Polish party capital. With 18 teams signed up for the battle it was our largest tournament in Krakow ever.

At the end of the day it was Budapest Celtic Lions who enjoyed a narrow 2-1 victory over The A Team of France. It was Budapest Celtic's first victory in 5 tournaments following two Runners-Up finishes. Although there was disappointment for The A Team there was personal glory for Dydynho who claimed the Top Goalscorer award with a return of 14 goals in 8 games.

For the Plate competition it was local team Awiw who took the honours. It didn't look likely when they trailed Saga Louts 3-0 in the early stages but they fought back to 3-3 to take the game to penalties which they duly won 2-1.

Thank you to all teams who made it on the day - both those who travelled to Poland and also the local football community who continue to support this fine festival of football. Thank you.

The 2013 Barcelona Fives was our 9th tournament in Barcelona and it was our largest to date with 25 teams assembled in Spain to do battle for the ultimate crown.

After 72 games of action it was Los Swallacticos of Northern Ireland who emerged victorious and took the golden trophy back home. It was a great debut win for them as they won 6 of their 7 matches en route to victory. They defeated Melee FC 1-0 in the Cup Final as the English team took home Runners-Up medals.

In the Plate competition it was Ireland's The Depo Allstars who took glory also winning 1-0 over an English opponent as they defeated JF & The Pullbacks. It was an Irish hat-trick as the Trophy competition was won by Deportivo Dooradoyle. They beat Drunk Perfect on penalties after a 1-1 draw and made it a very successful day for the Emerald Isle (Republic and Northern).

The Top Goalscorer prize did not go to Ireland though as Holland's Jan Van Rabenswaiij of ADP Netherlands 1 took home the Golden Boot award.

Thank you to all 25 teams who made the 2013 Barcelona Fives a fantastic tournament to sign off our season for the year. We can't wait for 2014 to get underway!!!!
