Location:

The Market Hotel is located in the centre of Barcelona very close to the popular Sant Antoni Market, between Plaza Catalunya and Plaza Espanya. Plaza Catalunya, La Rambla and the Gothic Quarter are all within walking distance of the hotel. Depending upon your pace it is probably a 5-10 minute walk max to reach all. For those wanting to explore more than the centre then Sant Antoni metro station is a mere 200 metres from the hotel.

Rooms:

The rooms are beautifully decorated and in a very modern and contemporary style. Very arty and with a lot of attention to detail. This is a small boutique hotel with a lot of charm to offer. Free wireless is available in the rooms and each room has air-conditioning and en-suite bathroom.

Services:

Free WiFi interent across the hotel. The hotel also has one of the best restaurants in Barcelona so if you are looking for somewhere to have an end of tour meal (maybe a celebration meal?) and you are staying here then you only have to go downstairs!

Our Opinion:

A beautiful, beautiful hotel full of charm, character and intrigue. Wonderful style and decor. Exceptionally good for the price and we feel should be a 4* as it exceeds it's official 3* rating - however we're not going to complain as you pay a 3* price for that extra quality.. Good location, extremely comfortable and represents superb value for money.
